Dr. Moshood Folorunsho Adeyemi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Dentistry, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, at the University of Ilorin. He has been serving as the Acting Head of the Department of Dentistry since its establishment in 2020. Additionally, since 2011, he has held the position of Head of the Dental Unit at the Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Adeyemi’s research interests encompass oral and Maxillofacial oncology, trauma, and reconstruction of the jaws. Currently, he is engaged in a collaborative effort with the international organization Smile Train, focusing on cleft lip and palate repair and rehabilitation.

With approximately 25 publications, Dr. Adeyemi has made valuable contributions to reputable outlets, including journals and edited conference proceedings. He has also served as a successful reviewer for articles in esteemed journals. As a dedicated professional, Dr. Adeyemi is an active member of various professional bodies within and outside Nigeria. He has consistently participated in conferences and workshops relevant to his field, where he has undergone training and presented research papers.
